A scientific engineering firm had a leaking vacuum system for their scanning electron microscope. Due to the presence of the leak, the microscope was not operating properly. Despite attempts to correct the issue (by changing gaskets and ensuring all fittings were tight) the Company was unable to fix the problem.
Although this was Jurva Leak Testing’s first time inspecting this type of system, we successfully located a leaking O-ring within the first hour of testing. As a result the client was able to repair the problem and quickly return the microscope to service.
